Reports have been officially confirmed that Yahya Sinwar, who planned and directed the attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, then surrounded himself with kidnapped Israelis, is dead! Apparently he was ready to “make a run for it” from his hiding place in Rafah, likely across the Philadelphi Corridor into Egypt. Weapons, fake passports (including one of an UNWRA teacher) and lots of cash were found on his body.

Apparently the elimination was unplanned…except by God! According to reports, the IDF attacked a building, resulting in several terrorists fleeing. Using drones, one was seen separated from the others, so the IDF launched a tank missile. Still life was left in one, so they launched an RPG-type shoulder weapon which wounded but didn’t kill the lone terrorist. Unconfirmed reports indicate a sniper’s bullet to the head finally did him in! It was only after the fact they realized they had just taken out the kingpin!

So, what now? Well, Joe Biden sent congratulations to Israel for eliminating Sinwar and is said to be planning a call to Netanyahu. Perhaps he should apologize profusely for tying Israel’s hands behind their back and withholding weapons because Israel disregarded Biden’s advice not to enter Rafah and the Philadelphi Corridor. I’m not holding my breath for that, though!

Meanwhile, a Houthi military spokesperson is “ask[ing] neighboring countries and all the countries of the world to stop the aggression…” indicating they are ready to agree to peace and a ceasefire. Is the Iranian regime feeling the noose tighten around its neck and ordering “peace” messages via its proxies? I would definitely not trust Iran or their proxies in pleas for “peace.”

I’m no military expert, but I’m wondering if you share these thoughts:

• The iron is hot and Israel should strike with great force.
• Press the air out of the balloon in Gaza by: 1. making calls/texts and dropping leaflets declaring Sinwar is dead, 2. making it clear the game is over and every citizen (terrorists and all) should put down their weapons, 3. sending in a significant ground force to totally put down all guerilla-like fighters still wishing to wage war without military structure.
• If Israel does that, chances seem likely they may be able to get their hostages back. Significant cash offers should be made to Gazans to provide information or to turn over hostages.
• These things should happen very soon and very rapidly.
• Then, plans to attack the head of the octopus (Iran) should be carried out!

You may or may not agree, and that’s okay. There is also the problem of the US continuing to put pressure on the Israeli government by withholding necessary weaponry and/or assistance in going after Iran.

As noted, I am no military expert. But I am a all out supporter of Israel. In looking at Ezekiel 38, which many Bible scholars believe is likely to be the next big event on the prophetic calendar, I read that Israel will be living in safety and security before the invasion of Russia, Turkey, Iran and others from the north. We are close to being set up for that invasion…but Israel needs to be safe and secure. Could this be the opening God has planned for that step to come to pass?
