What Happens if Netanyahu Caves to US Pressure?

Benjamin Netanyahu is not a perfect man. However, could he be called “for such a time as this?”

Netanyahu has been attacked personally, politically and legally for many years. The radical left in Israel hates Netanyahu every bit as much as the radical left in America hates Donald Trump. Netanyahu and Trump have unique visions of their countries’ potential, and both are willing to take on incredible personal opposition in favor of the best interests of their nations. Dislike them if you wish, but it cannot be disputed that both are lions when it comes to saving their countries.

After the October 7 attack on Israel, the world backed Israel and their right to defend themselves. Initially, the nations stood with Israel in their counterattack in Gaza to eliminate Hamas and bring their hostages home. Yet, within a few short weeks, the tide turned. Gazan citizens, including children, were used as human shields and the IDF was seen as the neighborhood bully, killing people with no regard for life. We know the opposite is true, but mainstream media around the world began spewing Palestinian propaganda, and suddenly the world turned against Israel. The spew has only worsened over time.

The current US administration has joined the world in turning their back, perhaps not totally, but to dangerous extent. They have gone so far as to withhold ammunition and military equipment that was already designated for Israel. If that wasn’t bad enough, the Biden team has consistently put tremendous pressure on the Netanyahu government to enter into ill-advised peace deals that would leave Hamas in control, no promise of release of all Israeli hostages, and Hamas’ ability to reconstitute and attack Israel again. That pressure will only grow strong as Biden attempts to leave a “legacy” of peace in the Middle East.

Meanwhile, members of the Israeli war cabinet and Israel’s radical left continue to increase pressure on Netanyahu internally. What happens if he caves to the American pressure and that of radical leftists in Israel? No one explains it better than Amir Tsarfati. If you want deeper understanding of the intensity of pressure on Netanyahu, take 20 minutes to hear Amir’s commentary.

As a side note, I read Netanyahu’s biography, Bibi: The Turbulent Life and Times of Benjamin Netanyahu, while I was traveling recently. What incredible insight to the bravery, steadfastness and commitment of a man to his beloved country. I highly recommend it if you have interest in what makes Benjamin Netanyahu tick!
