Friends, we’re focusing in on Israel’s God-given call to be a light unto the nations. What do you do when you wake up in the dark and need to find something? You turn on a light! Israel illuminates what is before us! We live in the last days and this world grows darker and darker.
Yes, we are to fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). But just as He created the world around us to reveal His eternal power and divine nature (Romans 1:18-20), He birthed the Jewish people to be a light unto the Gentile nations (Isaiah 49:6) and a blessing to all the families of the earth (Genesis 12:3)!
That is Israel’s place in this world, and we must yield to that. If we want to know how best to prepare for dark days ahead, we must seek out the light. The key to Bible prophecy is the Jew!
