Some have been in captivity in Gaza for over 3 months now. Imagine the anguish. Imagine the torture. Imagine the trauma inflicted on men, women, elderly and babies. Some have lost their lives in captivity, and it is hard to know what is worse.

Undoubtedly, women continue to be raped. Some may well be impregnated with the offspring of savage beasts. Some among the elderly are without vital medications. In many cases (based on testimony of released hostages), captives are suffering from malnutrition and very unsanitary conditions.

Only an Almighty God can sustain His beloved captives. Only an Almighty God can bring healing. Only believers in Jesus have direct access to the throne of the Almighty to plead His mercy. Christian friends, let’s renew our resolve to pray for the hostages. May the Lord God Almighty strengthen and sustain them and protect them from the brutality those monsters demonstrate.
