The Harvest in Israel is Ripe…But Who is Harvesting?

Hi friends! Israel faced a national crisis on October 7 when demonized terrorists infiltrated and attacked innocent Israeli men, women, children, babies and elderly people. The brutality went far beyond murder, as they raped, maimed and tortured people in the most unimaginable ways possible. Yet, when Israel went to war to destroy Hamas, the world soon began ridiculing them for taking civilian lives…ones serving as human shields for the cowards hiding behind them and underground.

Prior to the attack, Israel was on the verge of civil war, yet the attack changed that. For the most part, Israelis are more unified than they have been in decades, when they fought for their very existence in the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.

But something else is changing in Israel as well. Did you know a Messianic website is getting 1 million hits a month from Israeli citizens alone? Did you know 20,000 Israelis a month are downloading the New Testament (translated into Hebrew)? Did you know soldiers are suddenly turning to religious traditions such praying under the talit and with phylactery?

There is an earnest search for God. True, many are still not fully open to embracing Jesus as Messiah, Lord and King, but their search for the One True God, if pursued, will lead them there eventually! The fields are white with harvest! But who is tending the harvest?

I am especially excited about the work One for Israel does. As “tip of the spear,” they are doing the work of sharing Jesus with Israelis…Jews and Arabs alike. It is OFI who produces the web resources so many are flocking to for answers. It is they who provide aid to displaced Israelis and others in need. And it is One for Israel who educates and trains Messianic Jewish pastors and Arab pastors to work together in spreading the Gospel! They are the hands and feet of Jesus.

Will you spend 5 minutes to hear about the work they do? Then, if God leads, please consider a year-end gift to help them further the mission God has given them. I know them personally and can assure you your hard-earned dollars will go to worthy projects and your investment will make a huge difference! Even if you don’t give, I hope you will be blessed by this:
