Who Said it: “We Must Stop Blaming Israel!”

Unfortunately, when Israel fights a battle, they typically take on international opinion as well as the enemy they are fighting. Across the globe “pro-Palestinian protests” are loud and proud, inciting hate and violence.

Rallies are held in major cities across Europe, South Africa, Australia and the US. American universities are hotbeds of faculty and staff spewing anti-Israel hatred, and brainwashed students taking up the Palestinian cause.

However, a close look at the workings of Hamas reveal that they use Palestinian people as human shields in Gaza. They oppress them, robbing their children of education and healthcare by high jacking billions of dollars (over many years) of humanitarian aid and turning it into terror infrastructure. Thousands of shipments of cement and other building materials (much of it from Israel) has flowed into Gaza to build schools and hospitals. Instead, Hamas used it to build elaborate tunnels, command centers, rocket launchers and ammunition storage facilities under schools and hospitals.

Yet, following Hamas’ vicious attack on Israeli citizens, Palestinian sympathizers insist the blood of Gazan citizens is on the hands of the IDF. Not so. Hamas, and Hamas alone, is responsible for the bloodshed of human shields in Gaza. (See yesterday’s post regarding “moral equivalence.”)

But don’t take my word for it. Who would know the intent of Hamas any better than the son of a Hamas founder? If you follow, you heard a previous interview with Mosab Hassan Yousef, but I have never heard the truth of Hamas and the plight of the Palestinian people expressed any clearer than when Piers Morgan interviewed him just a few days ago. In one passionate statement, Yousef said, “We must stop blaming Israel [for the plight of the Palestinians].” Find out what else he had to say:

Dear friends, we must take a similar stand for Israel. All around us, people are being brainwashed because of the situation in Gaza. Yes, we should feel compassion for innocent Palestinians, and we should pray for them. But we must not be dragged into the notion that Israel is at war with Palestinians. Israel is at war with Hamas, and Hamas continues its war of neglect with the Palestinian people.

Speak up for Israel, and don’t be deceived by propaganda that projects improper blame on them.
