Here at Looking for the Blessed Hope, we believe God is a prayer-hearing, prayer-answering, wonder-working God! There is power when we join our hearts and our minds with that of our Lord and pray in unity with Him!

The Bible specifically commands us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6-9). It is His will and His heart! Joining in unison with Him, there is a major prayer initiative that kicks off tomorrow and goes through Pentecost (May 28). It is a call to prayer, bringing millions of believers around the world together to lift up the nation of Israel before the throne of God!

Looking for the Blessed Hope has joined the effort, and we invite you to do the same by committing to pray for Israel every single day from May 7 – May 28. One for Israel provides resources to help guide your prayer time, and Dr Erez Soref tells us about those resources:

It is a worldwide effort, and using Isaiah 62 as the basis of prayer, we are expecting as many as 5 million people to take part! Hear about the urgency of the effort, then join together with us!
