As we focus on the birth of our Lord Jesus, worship seems appropriate. In the midst of busyness and distraction, it is my prayer, as you carve out a few minutes each day, that Christmas worship will lift your spirit and draw you into sweet communion with the One whose birth we celebrate.

Let’s begin with focus on Mary. Can you imagine what it must have been like for her? A young girl, pregnant out of wedlock, yet the Lord had graciously told her she was carrying a special child. Rejoicing with cousin, Elizabeth, who was now mother to John, Mary must have wondered what it would be like to deliver the promised Messiah.

Let’s go to Israel and wonder with her!
