Over the weekend, Sweden joined Finland in announcing their intent to file for inclusion in NATO. Russia has responded by moving nuclear weapons to the Russian-Finland border.
Meanwhile, riots are happening all over Iran, as citizens are protesting the rising cost of living while the regime pours millions (if not billions) into their quest for nuclear weapons.
Natural disasters are happening across the Middle East, including the most recent sandstorms in Iraq, wiping out all visibility.
Worldwide events are taking place that Scripture describes as those which will intensify in the tribulation. Likewise, Israel’s enemies are gathering while the rest of the world is bound up in their own turmoil. According to Scripture, Israel will stand alone in the end, and we’re seeing circumstances that could easily lead to that.
Believers, our eyes must be fixed on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. He gave us this promise, and we must cling to it:
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
~John 14:1-3
Do not be afraid and do not lose heart. Every promise of God is yes and amen! So keep your eyes fixed on the Promise Keeper!
