Day 2: 31 Days of Prayer for Israel – Googling Messiah

Welcome to day 2 of our 31 day prayer journey together! During the month of May, we’re focusing our prayers on God’s promise to breathe the spiritual breath of life into His chosen people in Israel. I’m a huge supporter of One for Israel because I have gotten to know them over the years as the most prolific evangelical ministry in Israel. OFI is Israel-based and Jewish-staffed. It is not an American ministry that planted itself in Israel, but rather Messianic Israeli Jews who long for their countrymen to embrace Yeshua (Jesus) as Messiah.

This morning’s post focused on that promise to God’s people found in Ezekiel 37. It is prophetic and we are actually seeing evidence of fulfillment as the hunger Israelis have to know about the Messiah is clearly seen! Consider these statistics, just as a result of OFI’s outreach:

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”

~Matthew 7:7

God’s Word is coming alive, as over 6,000 Israelis a month search “Jesus” on Google! That’s more than three times the searches for “rabbi” or “Talmud.” God is stirring up His people to search for Him!

Today, please pray for those in Israel who are actively seeking the truth through internet searches, that God will lead them to discover the Messiah through OFI’s evangelism videos and discipleship series.

Why not gather some friends live or on social media to journey with you as you spend these 31 days in prayer from Israel?
