Hey friends, I’m inviting you to join me on a prayer journey for Israel during May. On the 14th of this month, Israel will celebrate her 74th birthday as a reborn nation! After almost 2,000 years of dispersion and exile all over the earth, God brought the nation back to life. Tune in tomorrow morning for a Biblical look at that incredibly important event. It is known as the “super sign” of the end times.

Though Israel is back in the land, there is part two of the Ezekiel 37 prophecy still to come. That is, God will give them a new spirit and will breath life into the Jewish people. Yes, he breathed physical life back into the nation 74 years ago, but a day is coming when He breaths spiritual life into them!

That serves as the basis of our prayers this month. The prayer effort will follow a prayer guide produced by One for Israel, the only ministry in Israel whose stated yearning is for the Gospel-awakening of the people of Israel. In large part because of the tremendous ministry of OFI, there is a silent revival going on. They are the tip of the spear when it comes to evangelizing, and I hope you will follow this guide as we pray for that ministry, and for the hearts and minds of Israelis to open to the Gospel of Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah). This is Day 1, so here we go…

For almost 2,000 years Jesus has been the best kept secret among the Jewish people. Just 10 years ago, most Israelis wouldn’t have even heard His name or had any clue that Jesus was Jewish! Today, thousands of Israelis see testimonies and apologetics videos, produced by One for Israel, on YouTube and other social channels every day.

Pray for hearts to be open as people across Israel are exposed to the Gospel through OFI’s evangelism and discipleship resources.
