Crucifixion on Friday, resurrection on Sunday…but can you imagine what Saturday might have been like? The One who came as the Jewish Messiah was now lying lifeless in a tomb. The heartbreak, the disappointment, the perceived betrayal…hopes dashed and minds bewildered. And all this on the Jewish Sabbath. But there is more we need to understand about that day!
