In the “you won’t see this on mainstream media” category, an IDF soldier patrolling the border with Gaza passes his lunch (and likely others in his unit!) through the border fence to a young Palestinian boy. Scenes like this are far more frequent than you might expect, as the IDF knows the enemy is not the Palestinian people, but the Palestinian leadership.

The Bible teaches us that God’s call to the Jewish people is to bless all the families of the earth. (Genesis 12:3) Jewish people are not perfect, but it never ceases to amaze me how consistently that call is played out in everyday instances. Pray for the Jewish people to be faithful to their call, and that we are faithful to ours! (Check out Romans 11:13-14 to discover God’s call to us Gentiles, regarding the Jewish people!)
