Occasionally in Christian circles there is controversy about Christmas! Was Jesus really born on December 25? Are Christmas trees and nativity sets idols? Is Christmas really a hijacked pagan holiday? Do Christians disagree about Christmas for no good reason?
These questions have been addressed many times, in many ways, yet I have not heard a better explanation of those concerns than one provided by One for Israel. This is an excellent article, incorporating Jewish thought, and helping us to understand the legitimacy of our Christmas celebration, while allowing room for those who believe differently to do so.
