Israel has experienced very rainy winter and spring seasons which have caused the Sea of Galilee to approach capacity. (See Sea of Galilee Rises and Joy Overflows)
Often when heavy rains occur, the wadis (dry washes/creek beds) fill quickly and flash flood. In fact, I’ve been in Israel at times when the highway to En Gedi and Masada are flooded out, making them impassable.
Such was the case last week when the wadis filled. It is a spectator event in Israel! Check this out:
Praise God for the rain with which He has chosen to bless Israel! May the rain result in abundant harvests, and may the flash flood spectators remain safe!
