As news swirls around the Middle East, what better time to pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
Russia, Turkey and Iran will ultimately make up the “big three” during an invasion of Israel, but currently they are at one another’s throats! (They really don’t like one another.) Lots is taking place between the three of them in Syria. Find out more here.
Meanwhile, Israelis went to the polls on Monday for the third time in a year. Israel needs strong leadership right now, and we have been praying for a conservative government to lead the way.
Not so ironically, today is the worldwide day of dedicated prayer for Israel. The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) leads a prayer effort the first Wednesday of every month, and tomorrow is definitely a critical time to pray for Israel! They produce monthly prayer guides (see the current one here) and they have networked thousands of prayer groups from around the world to pray in unity for Israel.
You are invited to join the global movement. Click here to find out more about it. Form a group or join a group and prayer together. If you are in the Phoenix area, please join our group which meets at 5:30 pm the first Wednesday of every month. We meet in room 301 (on the north side) of CalvaryPHX. Everyone is welcome. Please come join us!
I definitely will. Blessings to you too!
