
That statistic puts things in perspective, doesn’t it?
Today is International Holocaust Remembrance Day, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, the most prolific death camp in Hitler’s quest to rid the world of Jews.
Israel is a thriving nation, but many of its early settlers who led the charge toward Israel’s declaration of independence in May 1948 were Holocaust survivors. Today, there are millions around the world who deny the Holocaust. Meanwhile, the remaining Holocaust survivors of today are nearing the end of their lives. Yad Vashem has worked tirelessly to record the stories of Holocaust survivors so the evidence of the atrocities will never be forgotten.
Please spend a few minutes today contemplating the loss of 6+ million Jews, and understand it was another attempt by Satan to wipe out the Jewish people. Why? Because Satan knows the significance of God’s plan of redemption through the Jewish Messiah!
