Almost always one of the first to respond to catastrophes around the globe, Israel continues to set the standard for compassionate assistance in times of distress.
As you pray for families of those who lost loved ones, please pray also for this (and other) rescue teams who often face tragic and depressing situations. Pray that, as the God of Israel gives them strength to take on the task, their eyes will be open somehow to see and recognize the Messiah who sustains them.
