If you have followed for a while, you know that the first Wednesday each month is a day of prayer for Israel. We join up with believers around the world who are committed to the Isaiah 62 Prayer Initiative.
I challenge you to read Isaiah 62 in its entirety (it is only 12 verses long), then commit to the exhortation in verses 1, 6-7:
For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent,
And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep quiet,
Until her righteousness goes forth like brightness,
And her salvation like a torch that is burning. …
On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen;
All day and all night they will never keep silent.
You who remind the Lord, take no rest for yourselves;
And give Him no rest until He establishes
And makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem posts specific prayer points each month, and, for those who want to pray with others, prayer groups meet all over the US and around the world! So, get in the game and join us as we throw a prayer net around the world!
