Hi gang!  I hope your the new year is off to a great start for you.  Many in America have today off since the New Year’s holiday fell on a Sunday.  Thus, I thought you might like to spend a few minutes visiting Israel!

Capernaum is one of my favorites places in Israel, though granted, many places there are my favorites!  One reason I like Capernaum is because we know for certain that Jesus walked there, taught in the synagogue there, and lived there (with Peter’s family).  (Matthew 4:13, Mark 2:1)  In addition, Jesus performed many miracles in Capernaum.  For example, scan the section headings in Mark 1-4, where you will discover many of them.

Recently, Behold Israel released another installment from Amir Tsarfati’s DVD series entitled Israel Unveiled, where Amir teaches from various places in Israel.  Below is the 23-minute teaching from Jesus’ hometown of Capernaum, on the Sea of Galilee.  I hope you enjoy the tour!
