The Decision America Tour heads to north central America! With stops in South Dakota and North Dakota today and tomorrow, Franklin Graham will again be leading hundreds in prayer for their state and our country. He will also encourage believers to live out their faith at home, in public, and at the ballot box. This is the midway point of the Decision America Tour, so let’s recommit ourselves to join in prayer!
BTW – if the tour has not yet come to your state, please get details on the Decision America Tour website, gather your praying friends, and make your way to your state’s capital! (Or pray in your own city…God hears just the same!)

- South Dakota ranks #3 in the nation for perceived well-being (happiness and health).
- The state ranks #4 in most churches per capita.
- South Dakota has the second-highest rate of reported sexual assault (70 incidents per 100,000 people) in America.
“Precious Lord, the statistics simply don’t add up. Happiness and health do not equate to high rates of sexual assault. Please bring wisdom and accurate assessment not only to the people of South Dakota, but to Americans everywhere. May we never be led down a path that ends in calling good evil and evil good. (Isaiah 5:20) We pray that South Dakotans will not confuse “happiness” (dependent upon circumstances) with “joy,” that comes only from the Lord. Please bring joy in place of happiness, and Lord, fill those churches with true believers who will make a difference in their homes and communities. Father, protect those put in harms way from sexual assault, particularly young people. We long to see revival in our land, and we pray that South Dakota will be the spark that lights that fire. Send Your Spirit, Lord!”
Wednesday, May 25, 2016: Bismark, North Dakota
- North Dakota has the nation’s highest binge-drinking rate (23% drink alcohol excessively in a short period of time).
- 77% of its population profess to be Christian.
- The state has the highest full-time employment rate in the nation.
“Praise You, Lord, for blessing the state of North Dakota with an abundance of jobs. May they continue to prosper. On the other hand, please bring awareness and cessation to the binge-drinking epidemic in North Dakota. Father, may they realize the difference between seeking satisfaction or comfort from a bottle and from the God of all comfort. (2 Corinthians 1:3) Please make Yourself so real to North Dakotans that they turn to You for every need. We pray, also, that those who profess Jesus Christ as Lord will truly make Him that. North Dakota is in need of the presence of Jesus. May they realize that need, and may it spread to the rest of America. Lord, be glorified in North Dakota.”
