Decision America Tour: Hawaii

The Decision America Tour is headed west…way west!  We’re following Franklin Graham as he makes stops at all 50 state capitals prior to the 2016 elections.  Our country is in tremendous need of revival, and we have major decisions to make in this election cycle.  Thus, Franklin is “going to every state in our country to challenge Christians to live out their faith at home, in public and at the ballot box.”  Amen!

Today, the stop is Honolulu, HI.  Unless you’re on Oahu, I doubt you will make it in time for the rally!  If you ARE there, go!  For the rest of us, we can dream of being there, but let’s be practical and pray from a distance!  Let’s join Franklin and thousands of other (on-site and online) in considering these prayer points:

Wednesday, February 24, 2016: Hawaii

  • More than 1 out of every 4 Hawaiians claim no religious affiliation.
  • In 1993 Hawaii’s Supreme Court was the first to issue a preliminary ruling that denying same-sex marriage was discrimination.
  • 56% of Hawaiians rarely or never attend church.

“Lord of Heaven, my heart is burdened for Hawaii.  In a beautiful land that shouts the glory of Your creation, a spirit of deceit looms large.  Whether it be false religions or atheism, Hawaiians are hindered from knowing You.  I pray that the Spirit of the Living God would sweep over the islands, and that the veil of deceit would be ripped in two, allowing a clear view of who You are.  Empower Bible-teaching churches to reach the “hard-to-reach,” and Hawaiians to respond by seeking out places of worship and fellowship that are faithful to Your Word.  Lord elevate Your Word to supremacy, that all may see that you created one man for one woman for life.  Cause believers in Hawaii to love sinners while hating sin.  We all need that.  God of miracles, bring revival to the Hawaiian Islands.”

Pray on, Christian soldiers!
