That’s a great question…so glad you asked!  From a Christian perspective, we support Israel because it is the right thing to do.  The Bible tells us that blessing Israel results in being blessed, but that cursing Israel results in curses (Genesis 12:3).  The prophet Joel also strongly warned of judgment to those who attempt to divide and scatter God’s people (Joel 3:1-2).

You may be familiar with the term “Christian Zionism,” which simply means Christians who support the Jewish nationalist goal of maintaining a Jewish homeland.  A basic tenet of Christian Zionism is to support Israel as instructed Biblically.  Therefore, I want to occasionally share information with you relating to the theme of Christian Zionism.
