Tomorrow marks the third anniversary of the imprisonment of Pastor Saeed Abedini. He is being held (and tortured) in an Iranian prison because of his faith in Jesus Christ. His story is amazing. In fact, I encourage you to read about the miracles God is doing in saving fellow Iranian prisoners.
As tenuous as things seem in our world today, it is exciting to know that God is bringing revival to the Middle East! Not only are Iranians coming to faith in Jesus Christ in large numbers, but Jews are also seeking and finding Messiah!
Will you join me in a day of prayer tomorrow? Let’s pray that the Lord’s purpose would be fulfilled through Pastor Saeed in that Iranian prison and, should it bring glory to our Lord Jesus, that he would be released to tell his story and work to bring others to the saving grace of Jesus our Lord. Meanwhile, pray also that the eyes of our Jewish friends around the world (but particularly in Israel) will be opened to see the Messiah!
God hears our prayers, my friends! Let’s join thousands of others tomorrow on the third anniversary of Pastor Saeed’s imprisonment and rattle the gates of heaven!
Blessings to all!
UPDATE: Franklin Graham and Samaritan’s Purse are also calling on believers everywhere to pray for Pastor Saeed. In addition, a special website, Be Heard Project, contains updates and ways to be involved.
