Laughing All the Way to Tehran

Some say that pictures are worth a thousand words.  Well, what do you make of these pictures of Iranian leaders during and after the Iran nuclear deal:

One happy diplomate (Iran Foreign Minister Javad Zarif) with US Secretary of State John Kerry following the close of the Iran nuclear deal.

Perhaps the most telling photo:

Left to Right: European Union High Representative Federica Mogherini, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, Head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization Ali Akbar Salehi, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond and US Secretary of State John Kerry.

In the picture above, taken after the Iran nuclear deal was done, notice who is literally laughing.  Notice, also, those who have joyful expressions and those who don’t.  Indeed, Iran and its allies (the EU, and Russia), as well as the head of the IAEA certainly appear more joyful than the British and American representatives!  Why?  Well, if you read the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (the Iran nuclear deal), you know why Iranian President Hassan Rouhani went on Iranian TV to tell his people that Iran got everything they wanted (and more) in the deal.  The pictures above tell the story!

So what is the outcome of the deal?  There are several, and they are well-stated by Susan Michaels, the US Director of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem.  I encourage you to read her article, Laughing All the Way to Tehran.

Enjoy the article…and pray for the demise of the current nuclear deal.
