Welcome back friends!  Indeed, the world we live in is growing more chaotic every day.  Over the past few days we have examined the Iranian nuclear deal and the reactions of Arab and Israeli leaders.  A person would have to be living under a rock not to realize that our world is spinning quickly out of control.  However, we have consistently been brought back to the fact that God is bigger than all of it, and that Jesus is coming soon to take us (Christ followers) to be with Him forever.

Yet, we still live in this world.  So, how are we to live prior to Jesus’s return?  The Bible is full of instruction to us, and we all must be responsible to study and heed God’s Word.  But I want to share two resources that will help us do that.

In May, Anne Graham Lotz issued a prayer initiative called “Mayday Mayday: A Distress Call for Prayer.”  It was a 9-day call to prayer that was very powerful.  If you were not a part of that prayer effort in May, I encourage you to engage in the call on your own.  (You will find everything you need via the link above.)  In fact, even if you participated in May, why not commit yourself to another round of prayer.  I plan to do the same!

Secondly, Anne Graham Lotz and Joel Rosenberg teamed up to teach through the book of Joel, along with a couple other relevant passages, in an event called “Blowing the Trumpet.”  I highly recommend that teaching series.  I know you will be blessed!
