Shabbat Shalom from Israel!

Happy Sunday, friends!

Ok, let me explain! As I write, it is Friday evening in Israel…the beginning of Shabbat. It is the weekly Sabbath which begins at sundown every Friday and goes until sundown on Saturday. Jewish families do not work on that day and almost no Jewish businesses are open. It is a welcome relief from the hustle and bustle we’re used to in America and other nations.

So, I’m about to take a Shabbat…a rest. This post will drop on Sunday morning, the usual day of rest and worship for Christians. I hope you don’t mind if I mix the two! I wish you Shabbat shalom, which is the greeting used by Jewish people on the Sabbath, yet my blessings to you will fall on Sunday. Enjoy a bit of worship as you behold the lamb of God!

I’m so very grateful to be in the land of Israel, hearing such worship in native Israeli tongue. One day, we will stand together in one united chorus to the King of Kings, Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah)! O Lord, might that day come quickly!

PS: Stay tuned. Our guests are arriving and we are about to begin our second tour! Updates to come each day, so come along and enjoy the journey with us!
