In short, the brutal truth about Iran is they will never stop. We’ve made the point plenty of times that Iran is an evil theocracy based on a religious philosophy that leads them to believe the false god, Allah, has called them to violence in his name, and to bring about conditions for their own version of the messiah to come.

Friends, Satan counterfeits everything. He is not a creator, so he twists what God created in order to serve his purposes. He knows Jesus came as the Messiah and he counterfeits the effort.

The Iranians don’t stop! Construction continues at Mount Pickaxe, deep inside their newest and most heavily fortified nuclear facility. 

Their proxies in Yemen are gaining control of a strategic coastal region and moving closer to the Bab al-Mandab Strait. 

For the millionth time - this regime was not made for pacts, deals, or any form of compromise. This jihadist regime will not stop until it fulfills what it believes is its Allah-given goal: either to dominate the world or plunge it into the chaos necessary for the Mahdi to appear. 

Someone asked me whether the war with Iran had ended. My answer was clear - it hasn’t even started. 

Anything short of breaking the neck of this regime will not bring peace to the region. It will only invite the next war. 

And we all know what the future holds…

Around the time of that post, the Iranian-backed Houthis took over the southwestern coastline of the Arabian Peninsula, in essence, setting the stage to stall the international oil market by creating another Middle East chokepoint at the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait. Tankers must pass through this strait to traverse between the Mediterranean Sea (via the Suez Canal and the Red Sea) and the Arabian Sea.

Meanwhile, those same Iranian-backed Houthis managed to hit Saudi Arabia’s East-West Pipeline, further snarling passage of oil via land. If that’s not enough, it is common knowledge that Iran has also resumed production of ballistic missiles in underground facilities, and their drive for nuclear weapons has not died.

Iran has been hit harder than they have ever been hit, and is a defeated foe militarily. Yet their religious theology is rooted so deeply in evil, they will stop at nothing until they accomplish their mission. A day is coming when they will partner with Russia and Turkey to invade Israel from the north. What will prompt it? Perhaps Iran’s inability to accomplish their mission alone. Perhaps the desperate yearning of a Turkish president, such as Erdogan, to reestablish the old Ottoman Empire under his caliphate. Perhaps a Russian czar’s hunger for power and control of the oil and gas resources Israel possesses. Perhaps a combination of the three!

We don’t know yet what the trigger will be, but we know the prophet Ezekiel clearly describes what that invasion will look like! (Ezekiel 38-39).

Indeed…there will be another war. But according to the prophet, Israel must be living in safety and prosperity at the time of the attack. So, what will happen in the meantime? Keep your eyes on God’s Word as you hear the day’s news. The last days are being laid out before us…which means only one thing for believers: Jesus is coming for us soon!

Fear not, friends. The story always ends the same way!
