Sadly, the Trump administration continues tightening the handcuffs on Israel. In earlier posts today, we focused on President Trump’s endless negotiations with Iran and a potential split between the US and Israel. It appears the administration is doubling down on Trump’s insistence that a deal with Iran is imminent. Here is a social media post from President Trump earlier today (Monday):

Trump’s comments regarding “ignorance or stupidity getting in its way” seem to be setting Israel up for blame. After all, if Iran is “ignorant” or “stupid” in firing on Israel, and Israel fires back, will only Iran be to blame? I doubt it. This sets Israel up to become a scapegoat if they retaliate, and a “deal killer” unless they take on rocket fire without retaliation.
Later today, the White House sent smooth-talker, Vice President JD Vance, who has already proven to be less than supportive of Israel in their attempts to defend themselves, to the news shows to present the case. Here is Vance in a Fox News interview with Jesse Watters. (Only the first 2:25 pertains to the issue.) By the way, take note of Jesse Watters’ leading question.
Within the first 60 seconds, Vance repeated the worn-out canard that the US has “created the space necessary” to get a deal done. He then went on to sidestep the question of whether Iran is playing the President and his negotiating team.
Benjamin Netanyahu has already publicly stated that if Iran attacks, Israel will not sit still, but will attack in return. To some degree, Israel has thrown off the gloves and decided to meet their nemesis, Iran and its proxies, where they’re at. They are determined to destroy the evil monsters who continually fire rockets into civilian areas in northern Israel (Hezbollah), and the regime who backs them (Iran). And they must now determine if they will potentially cross President Trump (if Iran launches more strikes) or bow the knee once more to an American president (which would likely cost Netanyahu a reelection bid). To help facilitate that, In a clever shift of equations, Iran added a third and a fifth. Here they are:
- Hezbollah: If Israel attacks southern Lebanon, we will strike Kiryat Shmona (in northern Israel).
- Israel: If Kiryat Shmona is attacked, we will strike Beirut (where Hezbollah’s key leadership is nestled in a civilian area).
- Iran: If Beirut is attacked, we will strike Israel. (This is how Iran ties Hezbollah to the negotiations.)
- Israel: If Israel is attacked, we will strike Iran. (Which happened overnight between Sunday and Monday.)
- Iran: If southern Lebanon is attacked, we will strike Israel.
Note: Israel has been operating in southern Lebanon for several weeks, pushing Hezbollah back from the border where they were launching short-range attacks into Israeli cities and villages. While in southern Lebanon, the IDF has found and destroyed many terror tunnels and huge caches of rockets, launchers, and other weaponry. They are there legitimately.
Yet, after denying they have supplied Hezbollah with weapons, manpower and training, Iran has now inserted themselves into the equation (#3 and #5) in an attempt to force a ceasefire in both Iran and Lebanon. Everyone, especially Israel, knows Iran will not abide by any peace agreement, and Israel doesn’t plan to stop the attacks on Hezbollah until northern Israel is safe for citizens to return.
Thus, Israel knows her hands will be tied if Trump pushes through with this devilish plan to force an agreement with Iran, and if they bend the knee to Team Trump.
As we know, #1-4 in the equation have already occurred AND Israel is still operating in southern Lebanon. How will the Iranians play that card? Will they “agree” to a peace deal, forcing a ceasefire in both Iran and southern Lebanon, thus tying Israel’s hands? Or will they refuse to agree, but rather follow through on another attack on Israel, knowing full well the Trump administration will blame Israel for ruining the peace deal?
Friends, the pot is being stirred, and the Trump administration appears to be laying groundwork for a decoupling from Israel. We obviously can’t say that for sure yet, but all the signs seem to point in that direction. Interestingly, the Bible tells us that Israel will stand alone in what is likely the next war: the northern invasion by Russia, Iran, Turkey and others, described in Ezekiel 38-39.
It needs to be said: “Mr President, please read (and heed) Genesis 12:3 and Joel 3:2!” (And please put JD Vance in the closet and let Bible-believing Secretary of State Marco Rubio shine light on the situation!)
PS: Follow us in the next post (in only an hour or two) for another Biblical admonishment.
