Something special happened in Israel in 2014. ONE FOR ISRAEL’s Bible College called out to Baal Perazim (Lord of the Breakthrough) and He responded as He did on behalf of King David:

⁹ So David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You deliver them into my hand?” And the Lord said to David, “Go up, for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into your hand.” ²⁰ So David went to Baal Perazim, and David defeated them there; and he said, “The Lord has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water.” Therefore he called the name of that place Baal Perazim.
~2 Samuel 5:19-20

David went up against a fierce enemy, but God broke through on David’s behalf. He has done it over and over for those who call upon Him, so why not give it a shot! That’s what the Bible College did, and invitations went out in 2014 to Messianic Jewish and evangelical Arab pastors throughout the land of Israel. That special invitation was to come spend a year together…Jew and Arab…to study in a very unique setting to experience a never-done-before program.

Over 25 pastors took the challenge, and a year later, they not only had a Masters Degree in Pastoral Ministry (from OFI’s accredited Bible College), but they gained a lifetime of deep relationships. That spark lit a flame in which Jewish and Arab pastors now work tirelessly to close the gap between Jews and Arabs! Check out this video:

Unimaginable, right? Yet, here we are 12 years later, and the impact of that breakthrough was not only powerful at the time but has exploded over the years! The progress in bridge-building is unbelievable. But you don’t hear that on the news! (You can read more about that impact here.)

I have also had the incredible privilege of meeting some of these pastors. They are true men of God who seem to have endless energy and desire to go deeper in service to Jews, Arabs, Palestinians, immigrants, Holocaust survivors, Druze, Bedouins and anyone else in need of assistance in the name of Yeshua (Jesus)!

Since 2019, I have led tours to Israel, and our itineraries always include engagements with some of these pastors. (One is also a very beloved tour guide!) In 2025, I took a small group to do nothing but partner with some of these men in the ministries they lead, serving the needs of Israelis. You truly have no sense of what Israel is like until you roll up your sleeves alongside wholly committed followers of Jesus and minister in the very places where the Bible comes to life!

I’m still leading tours, but now I do so for ONE FOR ISRAEL, so I know the ministry and the staff intimately. When I accepted that role, one of my first objectives was to create more opportunities for others to experience what I have experienced in Israel while serving.

Imagine being the hands and feet of Jesus in the very land where He walked, taught, and ministered!
