In light of Tucker Carlson’s recent statements that the Christian population in Israel is shrinking, I did some research on ONE FOR ISRAEL’s website and found an article dating back to 2017 detailing the growth of the Messianic community since Israel’s rebirth as a nation in 1948 up until that point. There is little question by those in the know that the number of Jewish believers in Jesus as Messiah has grown significantly since then. You will find the 2017 statistics in the article linked below.
You may be familiar with the “dry bones” prophecy of Ezekiel 37, accurately predicting the rise from ashes of the Jewish people following the Holocaust. To understand their restoration Biblically, check out:
Not only are there Christians in Israel, but a good percentage of them are Messianic Jews! God is transforming hearts, one at a time. This is a Biblical issue, and once again, God’s Word is more accurate than today’s news!
Of course, knowing the exact number of Messianic believers in Israel is an elusive task, as many who accept Jesus as Messiah remain quiet for fear of being outcast by their Jewish families. The numbers in the article represent conservative numbers substantiated by those who work closely with the Messianic population.
So, my question to Tucker Carlson is: Where do you get your information? His math simply does not add up.
