Trusting God Amid Political Chaos: A Biblical Perspective

After two days of damning news, how about a little Biblical encouragement?  I’m all for it.

Recently, having written of similar concerns, Amir Tsarfati posted the following on his Telegram channel.  Best if heard in his words:

The world grows darker and darker and increasingly evil. Politics revolves around ego, power, and money, and innocent people who once trusted their leaders often discover that they were either sold out – or that their leaders themselves were compromised.

As King Solomon so eloquently wrote:
“That which has been is what will be –
That which is done is what will be done –
And there is nothing new under the sun”
Ecclesiastes 1:9

God has provided two options – to trust His redemptive power and plan and believe in His only begotten Son – or to remain ignorant of God’s righteousness and seek to establish one’s own righteousness without submitting to the righteousness of God
John 3:16Romans 10:3

My passion in life is not to justify the deeds of men – whether world leaders or ordinary people. My desire is to explain world events through the lens of the Bible and, through that, to bring people to a place where they no longer live in fear but rest in this simple and eternal truth:

“The Most High rules in the kingdom of men –
Gives it to whomever He will –
And sets over it the lowest of men”
Daniel 4:17

As King Nebuchadnezzar himself testified:
“For His dominion is an everlasting dominion –
And His kingdom is from generation to generation.
All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing –
He does according to His will in the army of heaven
And among the inhabitants of the earth.
No one can restrain His hand
Or say to Him, ‘What have You done?’”
Daniel 4:34–35

A good word from a faithful man of God.  Let’s live it out, friends!
