As we seek the return of Jesus, we are reminded in 2 Thessalonians 2:7 that the mystery of lawlessness is already at work in the world! If you doubt that, consider what’s going on in Minneapolis and other cities across America (and the world) right now! Lawlessness is rampant, and is one of the things God’s Word tells us will happen in the last days. We’re living there!

But be encouraged! Unhindered lawlessness will be very evident in the tribulation, yet Jesus promises in 2 Thessalonians 2 (and elsewhere) that He will save us from the wrath of the tribulation. He will come for us before unadulterated lawlessness goes unchecked in the tribulation. Rejoice!
