Hi friends! Having flown all day yesterday, perhaps you will grant me the grace to post pre-prepared content! Meanwhile, I am reminded of why it is important to love and support Israel. It is certainly not because they are perfect. They are human just like you and me, and they deal with the same social ills such as abortion, drug use and broken families. Yet, Gods’ Word commands it, and it is a natural thing to do once we begin to grasp the fact that our Christian faith is rooted in Judaism. Jesus was Jewish. Thus, no Jews, no Jesus, no salvation!

Loving and supporting Israel does not mean we agree with everything their government or leaders do. On our upcoming trip to Israel, we will visit the Knesset (parliament), and if in session, I’m sure we will hear disagreement between lawmakers…just as we experience here in America or any other nation. We don’t always agree with the decisions made (or those making them), but we support their right to make them.

It was a grand and glorious time in Israel and I look forward to sharing more with you in the days to come. But as I rest up and get back into regular, everyday routines, I hope you are encouraged by what you have gleaned from our trip. Also, I pray we all realize why it is important to support Israel!
