Hi friends! As a fictional character, Superman had amazing senses to detect imminent danger and threats before they occurred. He had “spidey senses!”

Like Spiderman, my spidey senses have gone crazy these past several months as I have literally watched Antisemitism grow rampant. I bet some of you have spidey senses about today’s anti-Jewish culture, too, and you have probably recognized the nuanced (and not-so-nuanced) ways it has come about.

But did you know it is actually tearing apart Christians…and conservatives…and (God forbid!) MAGA? Yes, as people such as Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson, Steve Bannon, Kurt Cameron and others subtly (or not so subtly) spout off Antisemitic rubbish, young people and adults are following them in droves. This is dangerous!

Add to that, those spouting this gibberish and other false theology (such as Halloween being a Christian holiday) are putting the cherry on top by exclaiming, “Christ is King!” I suppose they are hoping to convince us of their spirituality, giving us no reason to doubt what they say. Be aware, people!!! The subtlety is scary, and it is exactly the way Satan deceived Adam and Eve! Be very careful who you follow. Vet them carefully. If the Bible is not their bedrock and plum line, don’t follow them!

Let me provide a very clear example. Charlie Kirk was a strong supporter of Israel. He said his trip to Israel changed his life. I wish he had been more outspoken about Israel, but that is an argument for another day. The point is: those who knew Charlie best (including his pastor friends) said he absolutely stood for Israel. But, now that he’s gone, other voices are taking to college campuses to debate students as Charlie did. Can you imagine Tucker Carlson fielding questions regarding whether or not it is right to support Israel? Yet nothing prevents that! Even Turning Point has Antisemites speaking on behalf of the organization Charlie Kirk founded! (BTW – for those attending Turning Point’s AmFest in Phoenix in December, join me as I walk out when Tucker Carlson takes the stage. Every true believer should exit the arena when he takes the stage.)

Recently I heard one of the best discussions and Q&A’s regarding Antisemitism I have ever heard. Amir Tsarfati (an Israeli Jew), Jan Markell (an American Jew), Pastor Barry Stagner, and Mike Golay hosted a Round Table, addressing the topic of Antisemitism from Within and answering questions. They hit on key Biblical principles that every believer needs to know, and they even address why it should matter to us in America. Thus, I highly encourage you to catch their discussion (and determine whether or not you, too, will walk out on Tucker!) It is well worth an hour of time this weekend!

One of the goals of our upcoming trip to Israel is to share the love of Jesus. Though we are observing much of the world turn their backs on Israel, we go with the intent to bless Israel as God’s Word commands! What an incredible privilege to go there to share God’s love in person!
