It didn’t take long. Very shortly after Charlie Kirk’s horrendous assassination, rumors began circulating that Israel had something to do with it. Some blamed the hit on the Mossad (Israel’s highly acclaimed intelligence/spy agency), some said Charlie was killed by insiders who hate Israel and wanted Charlie dead, some said it was a facade…Charlie Kirk actually hated Israel. So many ridiculous lies in so little time.

This is the type of antisemitism Amir Tsarfati addressed in yesterday’s post. We could discuss how ludicrous all those ideas are, but the point here is that there is no reason whatsoever that Israel should even enter into the conversation. Yet, it does…and with vitriol and accusations. Sadly, there are those who are now pinning Charlie’s death on Israel.

Friends, the lies even come from some big-name influencers. Be aware. Be vigilant. Don’t fall into the trap of hating what God loves and loving what God hates. God’s Word is true…He loves His uniquely called people (the Jews), He promised to put them in their own land, and His promises to them are eternal. Yet, the world hates them, accuses them, and claims God’s promises no longer apply to them.

I challenge those in that camp to simply read Genesis 12, 15 and 17, Jeremiah 31, Ezekiel 36-37, Zechariah 12-14 and many other prophetic passages in which God’s promises were given and are now either fulfilled or are being fulfilled. Stand strong in the Word, my friends! It will never lead you astray!
