Will Trump Go to Heaven?

A common conversation seems to be arising both in mainstream and social media: Will President Trump go to heaven. I first heard the question posed years ago, but the Trump-brokered peace deal in the Middle East seems to have triggered the conversation once again. In fact, President Trump himself has thrown it into the news cycle by stating in a press gaggle aboard AF1 and at Charlie Kirk’s Medal of Freedom ceremony that he is “probably not heaven bound.”

However, pointing out Trump’s great works in an interview with Benny Johnson, here is what Eric Trump had to say. (Relevant comments in the first 4:30 of the conversation.)

Dear friends, I have no idea whether President Trump is a believer or not. However, if he is, it has NOTHING to do with Eric Trump’s confidence, in peace deals around the world, or in surviving assassination attempts. Absolutely God preserved his life and is doing mighty thing through him, but that is not confirmation of a true relationship with Jesus Christ. It is FAITH that counts…not good works.

President Trump is the hottest ticket on the planet right now. No one in our lifetimes has accomplished what he has accomplished on the world stage of diplomacy or politics. For that, we should be grateful. But we must understand that no one gets into heaven because of their greatness, and no one is kept out of heaven because of their lack of greatness.

Every person on planet earth “comes to Jesus” and “enters heaven” in the exact same way. If you are one who believes you will enter heaven because of the good things you have done, please continue reading. Likewise, if you believe you have done something so bad (or someone has done something so bad to you) that you cannot go to heaven, please continue reading.

The Bible tells us exactly how we can “come to Jesus” and “enter heaven,” and it has nothing to do with how good or bad we have been. Here is how Billy Graham stated it:

Even if you are President Donald Trump, unless and until you put your faith in Jesus Christ you are not heaven-bound. However, anyone (including President Trump….or you!) can put their faith in Him and know for certain they are heaven-bound. Here is a fantastic resource to help you do that:

PS: President Trump and others have eulogized Charlie Kirk by commending Charlie’s profound faith in Jesus. In the eyes of the world, Charlie’s death came way too soon, but he is now in the presence of Jesus, His Savior. Today is your day to make the same decision Charlie made as a young man! Trust in Jesus!
