President Trump Again Admonishes Israeli Courts to “Let Bibi Go!”

Nothing is more chaotic and disruptive than Israeli politics! True, some in America will argue that the clown show President Trump was put through in attempts to destroy his political clout (and, indeed, his life) are unrivaled. However, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in the midst of a 7-front war, has been forced to spend many days in court defending against ridiculous allegations as insignificant and immature as “illegal” gifts of cigars and Bugs Bunny dolls.

Since America’s action alongside Israel’s in Iran, though, President Trump has seemingly thrown off all political correctness and has twice taken to Truth Social to excoriate Israeli courts for keeping Netanyahu tied up in court during such world-changing challenges. In his latest Truth Social post, President Trump said, “Let Bibi go! He’s got a big job to do!” Indeed he does! Here’s the post:

There is talk of the US administration slapping sanctions on the bad actors in Israel holding Netanyahu hostage from running the country. That would, indeed, be a risking move, as it is never a good thing to mettle in other country’s politics. If fact, many Israelis believe Trump has already gone too far.

However, it is believed that constant court appearances are holding up Netanyahu, and perhaps even America’s Middle East negotiation team in their work to cut a deal that would bring Israeli hostages home and end the war in Gaza. In fact, on Sunday (a workday in Israel) Netanyahu petitioned the court to allow cessation of hearing to allow him to press forward with negotiations to get the hostages back.

Everyone (other than Hamas) wants that, yet the radical Israeli left will do almost anything to shove Netanyahu out of office. A hostage deal with Hamas seems impossible to accomplish. Admittedly, I have great doubts they will ever get a demonically radical death cult to give up hostages. However, given the devastation in Iran, perhaps the iron is hot enough to make headway with Hamas. After all, they no longer have the backing of Iran and Israel has decimated Hamas leadership.

Is it enough? I pray it is, but believe only God can move on the souls and minds of evil men to do what is counter-intuitive to their radical theology.

One thing I do believe, though, is that God has placed President Trump and PM Netanyahu in powerful positions for such a time as this. It is a once-in-a-lifetime alignment of leaders who God has called to act on behalf of His uniquely called people. Neither man is perfect…in fact, far from it. But God doesn’t call the perfect, He anoints those He chooses to lead. May they lead in righteousness.

Please pray for that.

PS: The two are planning a White House meeting in the coming weeks. May their friendship and working relationship be strengthened, and may their resolve to pursue righteousness more deeply than ever.
