Where Do You Stand with Jesus?

Sunday blessings to all!

As we turn from news of the day to focus solely on Jesus, please stop to consider where you stand with Him. One day it will be too late to consider Jesus as Lord and Savior. I don’t want any left behind when Jesus returns to take His bride (believers in Him) home.

If you don’t know Jesus personally and you have concerns about the state of our world, your concerns are fully warranted. On the other hand, for those of us who have put our faith in Him, we are assured of eternal life with Him (John 3:16) and an escape from the wrath that is to come (1 Thessalonians 1:10). (That wrath is the tribulation…the most horrifically tragic event one can imagine.)

Today is your chance to meet Jesus personally and allow Him to rescue you from sin and save you from eternal death in hell. It’s as easy as ABC:

  • A = Admit you are a sinner. Every last one of us is a sinful creature, born to rebel against God’s instructions and ways of doing things.
  • B = Believe in your heart that Jesus died, was buried and resurrected to save you from your sin.
  • C = Confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord of your life. Acknowledge your sin to Him. Admit what you have done wrong…the things you have allowed your hands to do, your feet to go, your mouth to say, and your words to harm. Then, agree with Him that your sin is wrong.
