Another Sign of Antisemitism: “The Jews Killed Jesus”

We’re seeing the ugly underbelly of antisemitism across our nation and the world. In recent days, two young Jewish staffers at the Israeli Embassy in Washington DC were gunned down by a man shouting “Free Palestine.” Only days later, a Muslim man attacked Jews in Boulder CO on the first day of Shavuot, the Jewish Feast of Weeks.

We’ve seen blatant antisemitism rear its ugly head on colleges campuses across America, and it only grows worse.

But is antisemitism relegated only to heathens who hate Jews? No. In fact, it has infiltrated some supposedly Christian circles who insist that the Jews killed Jesus. Truth is important here…but what is it?

The appropriate understanding of Jesus’s death is critical to a Biblical worldview, and an inaccurate worldview in this matter results in antisemitism. Amir Tsarfati lays out the details. This 9-minute commentary will guide us in the appropriate understanding. I hope you will carve out time for it. Be blessed!
