A few days ago I announced our Israel Solidarity Trip (a ministry opportunity of EXPERIENCE ISRAEL TOURS). Plans are well underway and I will host an information meeting via Zoom on Monday:
Israel Solidarity Trip Info Meeting and Q&A
Monday, December 16, 2025 @ 7pm (AZ time)
(9pm Eastern, 8pm Central, 7pm Mountain, 6pm Pacific)

This is a ministry trip, not a sight-seeing tour. We may have limited opportunities to see a few things along the way, but our primary mission is to be the hands and feet of Jesus and to share support and encouragement to our Israeli friends.
During our Zoom meeting, I will reveal plans as they stand right now, discuss cost (very reasonable!), provide airline information, and answer any questions you may have. We can take only a limited number of people, but we do still have a few spaces available. I expect to fill our slots, and our deadline is coming soon. If you plan to go or have interest in going, this meeting is very important.
Some of you have indicated you cannot go, but you would like to donate. Looking for the Blessed Hope is not set up to receive donations. However, I’ll share about giving opportunities during the Zoom meeting. For now, below are samples of possible projects you might consider. If you have been on an EXPERIENCE ISRAEL TOUR with me, you know these people!
- Pastor Saleem Shalash: Various projects through Home of Jesus the King Church in Nazareth, including packing/distributing food/clothing/hygiene items to those in need; providing needs of Holocaust survivors; bridge-building outreaches to Jews and Arabs. Home of Jesus the King Church
- Pastor Israel Poctar: Similar projects as Pastor Saleem. These two pastors (Arab and Jew) partner together to minister to those in need. Pastor Israel is in Ashdod, just a short distance from the Gaza border. Beit Hallel Israel
- Jonathan and Amos Agami. These are 2 of Aly’s sons (our guide in Israel) who launched their own company to provide special solar panels that help save soldier’s lives. They both spent over 200 days in Gaza, recognized a need, and did something about it. Now they want to provide life-saving panels to IDF units. Saving Soldiers Lives
There is a wide variety of projects in several areas that we may participate in and there will be something for everyone. I am also working to get a tour of the Nova music site and one of the kibbutzim that was attacked on October 7, 2023. Seeing those sights will help us understand just how important it is to show the love of Jesus to a hurting population.
Join our Zoom meeting on Monday for more information regarding our Israel Solidarity Trip. We would love for you to join us in Israel, pray for us, or support worthy causes in Israel.
