From Orthodox Jew to Follower of Jesus to Discipler of Others

Hey friends, do you get fired up hearing about what God is doing in Israel, despite the chaos? I certainly do! So, let’s get fired up together!

The Bible tells us salvation is for the Jew first! (John 4:22, Romans 1:16) Thankfully, in the fullness of His goodness and grace, God invites us Gentiles to partake of the gift of salvation as well. But we must never forget who salvation was meant for from the beginning!

We also know that a veil hinders Jewish hearts and Jewish eyes from seeing the Messiah:

12 Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech— 13 unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away. 14 But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. 15 But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.
~2 Corinthians 3:12-15

But don’t stop there! The following verses are spiritual gold nuggets for our beloved Jewish friends:

16 Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
~2 Corinthians 3:16-18

Wow! When one (Jew or Gentile) turns to the Lord, there is no veil! The Spirit of the Lord enters in, and those who enter into that glorious relationship with Jesus are transformed!

Now, let’s see it in action!

It’s crazy good, isn’t it!

Have you entered in? Whether Jew or Gentile, the way to salvation is the same: put your trust in Jesus the Messiah…the One who takes away our sin and gives us His righteousness! You will never be the same!
