A while back, we posted a clip about a Messianic congregation in Kiryat Shemona who remains in the northern Israeli city despite Hezbollah rockets and an otherwise evacuated city. Why do they stay? To provide meals and encouragement to the IDF…in the name of Jesus! Amidst the chaos, God’s people are at work!
The story of their miraculous survival following a direct hit by a Hezbollah rocket proves the Biblical principle, “What the enemy meant for harm, God uses for good.” It is an amazing story of bravery and faith in God which causes soldiers and others to consider the grace of the God of Israel!
Pastor Israel Illuz’s personal story is amazing as well, illustrating how Jesus reveals Himself to Jewish people willing to seek Him. The love of Jesus pours forth from Pastor Israel and his congregation as they are the hands of feet of Jesus, serving primarily IDF soldiers.

BTW, ministries and congregations such as this are supported by One for Israel, a fantastic ministry sharing the truth of the Gospel to Jews and Arabs alike. Get to know their ministry and support them financially if you are so led.
