Netanyahu’s Best Speech Ever in America?

Just two days ago, Benjamin Netanyahu addressed US Congress in what some are calling his best speech ever in English.  He definitely spoke his mind in carefully metered points as he always seems to do, and though dozens of Democrats boycotted the event, he was well received by almost all who were in the room.

During his speech, Netanyahu introduced Noa Argamani, a hostage recently rescued in a daring operation by Israeli special ops, as well as 4 brave soldiers called out for various acts of heroism. Hostage families were also recognized in Netanyahu’s intentional build up to emphasize Israel’s steely resolve to overcome hardship.

Also in usual form, Netanyahu heaped praise on both Biden and Trump for their commitment to stand with Israel. While giving fewer examples of Biden’s support, the Israeli PM reeled off President Trump’s accomplishments on behalf of Israel.

Netanyahu encouraged continued cooperation in our joint fight against evil (particularly Iran), and exhorted American leadership to continue in the battle. He closed with a strong solidarity message and lavish thanks to America, noting there is no place for political violence (which plagues both nations).

There were dozens of standing ovations, including a very long one at the conclusion of his speech, and he left the halls of Congress as he arrived, under very heavy security. Unfortunately, hundreds of protesters burned American flags and Netanyahu effigies outside the Capital building during his speech.

His US itinerary includes individual visits with Biden, Kamala Harris, and Donald Trump (at Mar Lago). Some of those meetings have already taken place, but he flies to Florida tomorrow for the meeting with Trump.

Please pray for our leaders and for Prime Minister Netanyahu. May God protect them as anointed servants “for such a time as this.”

Finally, if you find it difficult to pray for certain political figures, keep in mind God places people in power and He has used good rulers and bad rulers for His glory. He has also spoken through donkeys…and He can do it again if He wishes!!!

Enjoy the Netanyahu speech if you missed it earlier.
