Unity Between Jews and Arabs in Christ…Even During War

I am always blessed beyond words to hear of the grace of the Lord at work between Messianic Jewish and Arab believers in Israel. Bridges are being built and strengthened day-by-day as brothers in Christ join together to serve the body of Christ, and there is more happening than we can describe in a single post.

Pastor Saleem Shalash is an Arab believer and pastor of a congregation, Church of Jesus the King, in Nazareth. Pastor Saleem and his family seems to never rest as he leads constant ministry projects benefiting Jews and Arabs alike.

The Pochtar family is Messianic and serving in Ashdod, very near the Gaza border. As Jewish believers (and pastors), they also reach out to Jews, Arabs and Palestinians with the love of Jesus. Often the two families join forces to serve together as “one man” in the body of Messiah.

To see Israeli Arabs and Jews gathering together as one in Christ, especially during this time of war, is a testimony to the bond of love in Christ that brings us together as a family and as children of God. This unity then translates into reconciliation and bridge building between two communities that have endured division and misunderstanding for so long, and which in turn has a ripple effect on the broader Israeli society.

Friends, words and videos can’t tell the full story of how God is working. Thus, I invite you to join us on our February 2025 EXPERIENCE ISRAEL TOUR, where we are intentional about meeting Messianic, Arab and Palestinian pastors laboring together in a region of the world known to hate Israel. We see and hear firsthand of the work going on there, and we join them in prayer for the power of God to bring about miraculous things. Then, we rejoice with them when He does! Our tour guests often say meeting these anointed pastors, hearing their testimonies and joining them in their work is an unforgettable experience and a tour highlight.

Pray for these servants, and go with us to meet them in February 2025!

    1. Thanks for stopping by, Scott! You are right, Jews, Arabs and Christians will likely always live in the land. However, per Biblical truth, Israel will always hold the title deed to the land, as God has promised it as an everlasting covenant! Let’s pray for peace and wisdom for leaders in the Middle East. It is definitely a complicated situation! Blessings…and thanks for the comment.
