Netanyahu: “We will Defeat Our Genocidal Enemies”

Just a short time ago, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed those attending the national Holocaust Memorial service at Yad Vashem. Broadcast around the world either live or soon to be on video, Netanyahu made it clear that Israel will defeat her genocidal enemies.

Resolute and forceful, Netanyahu sent a clear message to the Biden administration and other adversarial governments around the world when he said:

Eighty years ago, in the Holocaust, the Jewish people were totally defenseless against those who sought our destruction. No nation came to our aid. Today, we again confront enemies bent on our destruction.

I say to the leaders of the world that no amount of pressure and no decision by any international forum will stop Israel from defending itself.

As the Prime Minister of Israel – the one and only Jewish state – I pledge here today from Jerusalem on this Holocaust Remembrance Day:

If Israel is forced to stand alone, Israel will stand alone. But we know we are not alone because countless decent people around the world support our just cause. And I say to you, we will defeat our genocidal enemies.

~Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, on Israel’s Holocaust Remembrance Day, May 5, 2024

May the mighty spirit of the Living God go before Israel in battle!

Believers, whether or not our nations stand with Israel, it is our God-given responsibility and privilege to stand with her. Not because Israel is perfect, but because God has uniquely called Israel and the Jewish people for a specific purpose: to bless the world. Likewise, He has called us to bless Israel. It is all spelled out in Genesis 12:3. Pray, speak out, contest for Israel’s right to fight for her existence, and be a champion for Israel.

Happy Sunday!
