Welcome to the weekend, friends! Have you wondered why God is shaking things up so much in the Middle East? Well, it fits prophetically with what God’s Word tells us about the last days. True, no one knows the day or the hour of the rapture, but as believers, we are told to discern the time and season in which we live. It is a turbulent time that looks very much like birth pangs that Jesus alluded to in Matthew 24!

Joel Rosenberg, a Israeli-American duel citizen (living in Israel) is a best-selling author and world-renowned leader when it comes to Christian influence in the Middle East. Many of you have probably read at least a few of his geopolitical thrillers, some of which seem to preempt prophetic events.

Recently, he spoke at Dallas Theological Seminary’s morning chapel and we get the privilege of listening in as he answers the question, Why is God shaking the house of Israel? (He begins about the 3:00 mark.) Enjoy!

BTW – I just finished reading Joel’s latest novel (though it has been out for a while) and couldn’t put it down! If you are into morally-based action thrillers that paint a fictional picture of what could happen as the world continues spinning out of control. His books are excellent! The Libyan Diversion was the fourth in a series featuring the fictious Marcus Ryker, a special agent with military background who takes on the bad guys right here on American soil. (The previous 3 were set in other nations and equally intriguing.) Joel Rosenberg has written about 15-20 other books, many of them fictional trilogies that keep you coming back for more!
