Incredible irony struck me when I saw the two images below. Perhaps it seems random, but in a very rare few minutes on Facebook, these images struck me profoundly.


They were posted back-to-back in my feed, and they clearly defined what we in America consider important and what Israel deems important. While Americans have nothing better to do than tear down the 187-year-old statue of Thomas Jefferson, one of our greatest founding fathers, Israeli soldiers fight with all they’ve got to sustain their country.
What a contrast. Some in America rip our country to shreds and attempt to erase our history. As a nation, Israel values their history and puts everything on the line to preserve their country. One takes it for granted, the other does not. One will stand in the end, the other will not.
Think about it…
