Sad News: Bibas Hostages Reportedly Killed

In an unconfirmed report, Israel’s youngest hostage, 10-month old Kfir, along with his 4-year-old brother, Ariel, and his mother, Shiri, are presumably dead in Gaza. Hamas is claiming they were killed during an IDF airstrike.

To be clear, this is an unconfirmed report. It may or may not be true, and we’re certainly praying it is not, and that the Bibas’ will be brought home to their family. Important to remember, though, is that terrorist regimes are masters of lying, deception and using the media to inflict pain and to paint the narrative they want the world to believe. Don’t buy into it.

Might Hamas be using this as leverage to persuade Israel to stop bombing terrorist positions in Gaza? Might they be trying to convince Israeli families whose loved ones are held hostage to exert pressure on the Israeli government to stop the attacks? Could it be that the Bibas’ are still alive, but by stating their death, Hamas may continue holding them for a “better bargain” later? And, if they are indeed dead, can we be sure it was the result of IDF bombing…or are they simply projecting blame so they hold no accountability?

Call me cynical, but evidence of what we already thought to be the case is coming out. Despite the “friendly” appearance of Hamas terrorists constantly present in video of hostage hand-overs, some of the actual hostages are describing instances in which they were held in attics by UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency) officials! The UN, who is supposed to be a peacekeeping organization, actually has employees holding hostages in their homes!

Another released hostage was held by a Gazan physician who was, at the same time, supposedly providing care to children. Despicable!

One thing is becoming abundantly clear. There are incredibly few (if any) “innocent citizens” in Gaza, except perhaps some who chose to flee their homes and take refuge in areas designated by the IDF as safe zones. In general, Gazan citizens are aiding and abetting Hamas, and polls indicate that 85% of Gazans support Hamas. The people of Gaza are not innocent!

Israel must do what Israel must do: demolish Hamas. There is no conceivable way Israel can live next door to Hamas-ISIS who has said repeatedly that they will perpetuate October 7-type attacks over and over and over.

Friends, there is a spiritual battle raging. It is a battle between good and evil, righteous and wicked, decent and demonic. The Bibas family is now a pawn in the hands of an evil, wicked and demonic regime. The battle is against principalities and powers we don’t even see. Ephesians 6:10-20 perfectly describes what we are up against, and what we must do to be victorious. Whether you know it or not, you are already in the battle, so put on the armor and let’s lock arms with believers all over the world in fighting this battle on our knees.

Pray for the Bibas family, and pray for a miracle of God to bring all hostages home. May the Lord of Heavens Armies confuse the enemy and move on behalf of the Jewish people. Will you be a soldier in the army with us?
