Deception and delusion are key signs of the last days. The apostle Paul states it most clearly in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12:

⁹ The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, ¹⁰ and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. ¹¹ And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, ¹² that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14) and shamefully, kids are a vulnerable target. Many have believed the lie that is characterized by the “my body my rights” ideology, resulting in over 63 million abortions in America since 1973 when Roe v Wade made it legal. But baby-killing has been around long before that. Leviticus 18:21 records a warning against sacrificing children on the fiery altar of Molech. Yet, it persisted then and it persists now.

But believe it or not, evil goes far deeper than that. In the name of “religion” (Satan disguising himself as an angel of light), The Satanic Temple (TST) is now setting up after-school clubs across America where they are distributing deception and delusion by brainwashing our kids to believe they are worthless and life has no meaning. Sadly, kids are looking for something to believe in, and STS is filling that void.

Christian friends, we should be appalled. But more than that, we should be proactive in protecting innocent hearts and minds. Family units are under severe attack at a time it is most critical for parents to protect their children.

2 Thessalonians 2 warns of the coming of the Antichrist, and we are seeing the stage being set. The apostle John also states:

¹⁸ Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.

~1 John 2:18

Dear friends, like never before, now is the time to be in the Word of God, obeying the Word of God. If you are a parent, you have a duty to protect your children. Be in the know, not just about what evil befalls your kids each day, but what God’s Word says regarding teaching, training and raising your kids. If you are a grandparent, aunt, uncle, or friend of someone with kids, do whatever you can to support parents today. It is a difficult job, and it takes us all working together according to God’s Word.

In the last days, there will be deception and delusion. Don’t fall prey, and don’t subject your children to it either.
